Envisioned as a welcoming drop-in lounge, wellness sanctuary, and community gathering room, the space was planned to provide comfort and respite for hospital visitors, local neighbors, and anyone navigating life transitions or recovering from loss.
Now, The Bluebonnet Legacy Gallery serves as a digital home—opening my family’s artistic archives to the public. Named in honor of Dot Nabors, a native of Texas, The Bluebonnet Club is filled with family-oriented artwork, classic Southwestern themes, and antiques. At the heart of the collection is an archive of hand-painted china and fine porcelain created by my grandmother, master china painter Emily Merritt.
